So good enough for England at their age level, ie they are better than other kids their age and yet not a single one makes the bench ahead of Taylor o Neil job rvt Nolan Carlton etc..,
Sorry Norman, it does not add up. Sam is responsible and it is lazy to write off carrs work. A different ,Manager would have perhaps introduced one or two kids in the championship and when we safe in our first season back. Sam will buy in rather than develop. Fair enough if you think that is the best long term strategy for the club. I disagree mate.

Bringing decent kids through is not his job..and not his fault that there are currently none that are anywhere near good enough for first team. Terry Westley is the man in charge ATM. Jury still out on him. Not convinced myself. Been struggling for a while to bring the younguns up to first team standard. Likes of turgott..Hall and that lot were apparently expected to do well, but for some reason they've all stalled. All England youth players. I think the standard of coaching at ours now is way behind the likes of Southampton..yids ..everton .

Pickle - even Tomkins progressed quicker at a very early age under Zola. Zola even kept us with kids at a real crisis time ...junior collision Tomkins Hines.

Allardyce has killed the kids. Seen no evidence of any kids development. Suddenly East London/ Essex produces no kids for west ham.
For me, this is the area where Sam has done the most damage. His management in the cups last year should have been enough to get the cunt sacked.

The difference between us and Southampton is Koeman. If he was our boss Nolan, O'Brien,Vaz Te would not be in the 1st 11. Youngsters would be given game time and no negative tactics. From a great start we are sliding because Allardyce is to negative.

They're not light years ahead of us but they've progressed more since we both got promoted.
I was cunted off on here when I suggested that they had a better team than us in that promotion year but they had some great players who were just unfashionable back then.

Not contradicting myself. I am not precious about who is our manager if we are winning and look like we will continue to do so. In the long term. Sam would have done for me but he is to pig headed to change his ways

I think Sam is exactly what we needed after our Icelandic woes. not only stabilised us, but has got us back to where we were before all our troubles.
Now , though, its time to kick on, and a new man is needed for next season

Conradicting yourself there Iron2010. You should care who manages us. Stability Sam in the future, stuck in his defensive "minimising risk" mode- as he himself put it in the Standard - really isn't enough after the taster we've had this season of what things could be like. Hopefully G and S will see it, but probably not, even though they've spent shitloads of cash. Their entire thoughts are focussed on staying up next season. In a way this season so far (well, up to when Nolan became a regular again) was the worst thing that could have happened!

I'm not at all sure his position is all that strong. The Daves have really put their had in their pocket in the last transfer window and the purchased personnel can hardly be considered to have been used properly since the return of Allardyce's men Carroll and Nolan from injury. Both Song and Valencia seem distinctly miffed and the Zarate loan must have raised a few eyebrows as well. Above all, Allardyce's approach since the Chelsea game has been so astonishingly negative, it's almost as if he knows it's more than his job is worth to give it a proper go.

I said it before. Allardyce will be here next season unless he walks. No way would they take a risk with someone else a season before we move, they'll look at this season and will stick to what they know to ensure we're in the Premiership in 2016.
They'd probably want a yearly rolling contract but Allardyce isn't stupid, he'll want two years minimum. He'll be here next year though, I'm sure of that.

Despite it being a boring part of our history big Sam has done a decent job of stabilising us.
Providing we are doing well and looking like we are going to continue in that vein I don't card who manages us. It just looks like Sam is stuck in a defensive comfort zone

I have to say it is strange the way they keep him on a short term deal, but I fear it is more out of being stung for compensation in the past rather than a desire to replace him.

Any understudy of Klopp, Guardiola or Acelotti would be great. Perhaps Simeone would be willing to take a new challenge - you've got to show some ambition to get anywhere after all.
